Angel Askins’ dream of offering a place where pets could receive the same special care and compassion as our human family members began over 20 years ago. Angel has been a licensed funeral director for over 33 years, with 20 years’ experience as a crematory operator. Angel grew up on a farm in Paris, Arkansas, where she was surrounded by animals with a purpose, but not pets. She adopted her first dog at age 19 which led to many others that were all loved as if they were her child. When she was 17, she began working in a funeral home and found her true passion: helping others deal with grief and loss of those they loved. When her first beloved pet died, the idea for Angel’s Pet Funeral Home and Crematory was born. Angel wanted there to be a place where families could bring their four-legged family members that was dedicated just to them.
“I hope you can feel at ease knowing that someone who truly cares will be taking care of your baby as if they were one of my own.”
